Brunch: 3 addresses for a sweet, gourmet Sunday

Forget the snooze button. These three Parisian addresses have found the brunch formula to transform your Sunday into a moment of pure pleasure. Friendly tables, comforting recipes, well-sourced products and warm atmospheres: here, you come as much for the food as for the atmosphere. Whether you’re a fan of revisited classics or looking for an experience to share, these brunches promise a gourmet interlude that (really) makes you want to get out from under the comforter. Here are 3 addresses for an indulgent Sunday brunch. Our first stop is in the 7th arrondissement, at an institution that is bringing the art of the large table up to date.

Le Bistrot des Fables, a potluck version of brunch

A 7th arrondissement institution recently awarded a Bib Gourmand, Le Bistrot des Fables breathes new conviviality into your Sunday with its new “marmites à partager”. Here, brunch takes on the air of a large family reunion: forget impersonal buffets for simmered, generous and deeply comforting dishes. On the menu, the great classics of French tradition make a remarkable comeback: pot-au-feu, blanquette de veau, coq au vin and carbonade flamande. Ultra-regressive recipes, perfectly executed.

Every week, chef Guillaume Dehecq creates a new pot, available individually or to share (ideal for 2-3 people). To inaugurate the season, the pot-au-feu is in the spotlight: served in its steaming pot, accompanied by its fragrant broth and melting vegetables, it warms the heart as much as the appetite. At €52 for two, the experience transforms Sunday brunch into a true moment of sharing. A warm, authentic address, where people come for the food as much as for the Parisian bistro spirit.

Maison Bréguet, the gourmet brunch that reconciles elegance and sincerity

Behind a glass roof bathed in light or curled up on the tree-lined terrace, brunch at Maison Bréguet is a real Sunday treat. Discreetly nestled between Bastille and République, this five-star boutique hotel cultivates the art of entertaining with unostentatious elegance. Here, brunch is much more than a gourmet ritual: it’s a luminous interlude where you take your time. Time to sit, to breathe, to share. And above all, to savour a cuisine that is fair, responsible and deeply rooted in the season.

The tables are lined with Parisian families, tribes of friends, urban aesthetes and international travelers. The atmosphere is friendly, gentle, almost confidential. The décor blends natural materials, contemporary lines and omnipresent light, creating a soothing setting in the heart of eastern Paris. In the kitchen, Executive Chef Adrien Milliand defends a committed vision: fresh produce, respect for the rhythm of the seasons and sincere flavors. ” Maison Bréguet brunch is a moment out of time, in an atypical Parisian setting. Through this brunch, we try to showcase my culinary universe: responsible cuisine, made with fresh produce and respecting seasonal rhythms.” An invaluable address for a gentle Sunday.

Vesper, the Tokyo-Paris brunch that takes your taste buds on a journey

When we think brunch, we imagine lukewarm pancakes and wise scrambled eggs. At Vesper, Fitz Group’s elegant address in the 7ᵉ arrondissement, we prefer to awaken the taste buds with yuzu, miso and a hint of sake. The result is a Tokyo-Paris brunch that’s truly off the beaten track. In a chic, hushed setting, we settle in for a French-style “Tokyo Morning”, generous and unexpected, combining a well-stocked buffet with hot fusion dishes.

Chef Roudy Petersen infuses creativity and precision into his no-fuss gourmet cuisine. Among the signature dishes is the Bénédicte Tokyo-Paris, with poached eggs in a croissant, hollandaise sauce, sautéed mushrooms and a Japanese twist. Another star is the miso roasted cockerel, served with melting, fragrant and ultra-comforting steamed rice. At €54 per person, every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Vesper transforms brunch into a culinary escapade between Paris and Tokyo.
