Summer vacation2026 promises to be rich in culture and style. From Paris to Provence, several fashion exhibitions offer the opportunity to combine relaxation and inspiration. Here’s a selection of must-see events to feed your passion for beauty.
André Leon Talley celebrated in Provence
In the heart of the Luberon, the village of Lacoste is home to the French branch of the Savannah College of Art and Design. From April 1 to October 31, 2026, the exhibition “André Leon Talley: Style is Eternal” takes place here. This retrospective pays tribute to the iconic figure of the journalist and fashion man.
The exhibition features a selection of outfits, accessories, photographs and personal archives bequeathed by André Leon Talley himself. Silhouettes by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, John Galliano for Dior and Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent complete the tour. In short, this Provençal tour combines art de vivre with stylistic heritage.

It brings together 450 exceptional pieces, from original creations to sketches and decorative objects.
The tour also includes rare photographs, videos and interviews with the Italian designer. Almost thirty years after his death, his name continues to inspire. This exhibition is one of the most eagerly awaited fashion shows of the summer season.

Haute couture and Thai tradition in Paris
From May 13 to November 1, 2026, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs presents the exhibition “La Mode en majesté. Haute couture and tradition at the Thai court”. The royal wardrobes of the Thai crown are presented for the first time in France. On display are the eight traditional costume formats codified by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
The exhibition also highlights the sovereign’s relationship with Monsieur Pierre Balmain and his house. It celebrates the 170th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and France. On the evening of May 25, the Royal Thai Embassy in Paris hosted a reception presided over by Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya.
Among this summer’s fashion exhibitions, this one stands out for its dialogue between Western haute couture and Asian savoir-faire. The cross-fertilization of cultures enriches our understanding of elegance through the ages.
Christian Dior recaptures his childhood in Granville
The story of Christian Dior begins in Granville, Normandy. From April 4 to November 1, 2026, the museum installed in his childhood home revisits the couturier’s early years. The exhibition “Christian Dior, in search of the colors of childhood” brings together 250 archive items.
The tour shows how his memories shaped his creative universe and the DNA of his brand. Successive artistic directors have continually reinterpreted this heritage. The label celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, making this visit all the more relevant.
Pomellato exposes its history at the Palais de Tokyo
For the very first time, the Pomellato jewelry house is exhibiting in Paris. From June 24 to July 20, 2026, the Palais de Tokyo will host “Pomellato, le Joaillier Révolutionnaire”. The exhibition retraces the brand’s history since its creation in Milan in 1967.
Pomellato was the first jewelry house to entrust its campaigns to leading photographers. On display are shots by Gian Paolo Barbieri, Helmut Newton, Albert Watson, Horst P. Horst, Snowdon, Javier Vallhonrat, Michel Comte and Herb Ritts. This visual dimension sets this presentation apart from the season’s other fashion exhibitions.
The evolution of the Pomellato woman’s image spans the decades. From the audacious style of the 1970s to contemporary codes, the exhibition bears witness to a singular vision of femininity. These fashion exhibitions show how accessories shape the look as much as clothes.
