Paris is throwing a free giant Céline Dion karaoke for 10,000 fans
Picture 10,000 people gathered outdoors, belting out the greatest hits of a global superstar at the top of their lungs. That is exactly what the City of Paris has in store this Friday, 11 September 2026, just hours before Céline Dion‘s first Parisian concert. And it is completely free.
A giant karaoke to celebrate Céline Dion’s arrival in Paris
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, the Canadian singer kicks off her first run of concerts in the capital, with a second wave already planned for spring. The event has had Paris buzzing for months: brand collaborations, pop-ups, private performances outside her hotel… The fever is well and truly set in.
For those who missed out on tickets, the frustration is real. Hours spent in virtual queues, ballot entries, dashed hopes. Yet the City of Paris has found a way to bring everyone together around the diva: a giant karaoke, organised in partnership with KaraFun, at the place de la bataille de Stalingrad in the 18th arrondissement.
What to expect at the place de la bataille de Stalingrad
Two sessions are scheduled on Friday, 11 September: one at 4 pm and another at 7 pm. Each session can welcome up to 10,000 people. The line-up for each includes a DJ set, a participatory karaoke dedicated to Céline Dion‘s greatest hits, and further surprises teased by the organisers.
Entry is entirely free. That said, places are limited and booking is mandatory, you cannot simply turn up on the day without a reservation.

How to book your spot to sing along to Céline Dion
Ticketing opened on Monday, 7 September at 7 pm, exclusively via the City of Paris newsletter. To get first access, you needed to be subscribed, that is how the initial slots were made available to members.
If those first places went fast, more will be released in a second wave directly through the City of Paris website. Because the woman who counts Jean-Jacques Goldman among her closest friends draws crowds, and the city hall has clearly anticipated demand by rolling out several booking rounds.
An event that goes beyond a simple concert
This giant karaoke captures the full scale of the phenomenon surrounding the Canadian singer in 2026. Paris can talk of little else: the entire city has tuned itself to her frequency well before the opening show on 12 September. For the thousands of fans who did not manage to secure a ticket, this evening at the place de Stalingrad offers a genuinely festive alternative.
Singing Céline Dion‘s greatest hits with 10,000 voices, outdoors, on the eve of her first night on a Parisian stage, it is a rare collective experience. The City of Paris and KaraFun are giving everyone left outside the venues a moment of their own: free, open to all, and the perfect way to celebrate one of the most anticipated artists of the decade.
