Maison Francis Kurkdjian launches two new fragrances that shake up the codes
The surprise was well worth the wait. Francis Kurkdjian has just unveiled a very special new olfactory story: Gentle Fluidity. Under the same name, we discover two eaux de parfum with the exact same notes, which reveal two completely different identities ... Or, how to raise the question of gender in all subtlety. A master stroke. In the world of perfume, Francis Kurkdjian holds a place of size. Nothing predestined him to be a perfumer, he who saw himself rather a principal dancer at the Paris Opera. But at 15, he discovered the profession of perfumer. In the shadows, he will then sign famous perfumes such as Le Mâle, Fleurs du Male and the iconic Madame… Rose Barbare by Guerlain, My Burberry, Kenzo World or Cologne Blanche by Dior, it is also him. It was not until September 2009, while still working for the biggest brands, that Francis Kurkdjian decided to co-found his eponymous house, with Marc Chaya.
