Foire de Chatou: the chicest flea market returns in March

From March 7 to 16, 2025, Chatou’s Île des Impressionnistes will be transformed into a huge treasure market, with 340 exhibitors and thousands of period objects to discover.

A not-to-be-missed event for second-hand enthusiasts

Just 15 minutes by RER from Paris, the Foire de Chatou is one of the most eagerly awaited events for antique hunters and enthusiasts. Held on the Île des Impressionnistes since 1970, it attracts more than 20,000 visitors every year, from experienced collectors to the simply curious in search of unusual objects.

With 340 stands, this 108ᵉ edition once again promises an exceptional treasure hunt. You’ll find antique furniture, tableware, paintings, books, vintage decorative objects, vintage toys and antique linens. A veritable Ali Baba’s cave for lovers of history and unique pieces.

A place steeped in history in Chatou

L’Île des Impressionnistes, where the fair takes place, is an emblematic site for Impressionist painting. Once a favorite of Renoir, Monet and Degas, it offers an idyllic setting for a stroll between the stands. Strolling among the antiques on the banks of the Seine adds a picturesque and romantic touch to the experience.
