Cinéclub Paradiso returns to La Seine Musicale
From July 15 to 18, 2025, the forecourt of La Seine Musicale plays host to the 6ᵉ edition of Cinéclub Paradiso. Four free outdoor screenings, accompanied by DJ sets and cult programming celebrating the emotional power of music in cinema.
A festive alliance between image and soundtrack
Created by the mk2 group in partnership with the Hauts-de-Seine department, Cinéclub Paradiso returns as part of L’Été en Seine, the summer’s outdoor cultural program. This year, the spotlight will be on music more than ever, with a selection of films where the soundtrack becomes a character in its own right, enhancing the images and stories.
Four films, four moods
Each evening, from 6pm, spectators will be welcomed by a DJ set from the FIP Squad, formed by programmers from the legendary FIP radio station. Then, at 7:30 p.m., it’s off to the movies with an eclectic program:
- Tuesday, July 15: Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, a visual and musical symphony by Alexandre Desplat.
- Wednesday July 16: The Blues Brothers by John Landis, a cult comedy and giant open-air concert featuring James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.
- Thursday July 17: Eden by Mia Hansen-Løve, a sensitive dive into the world of the 90s French Touch.
- Friday July 18: Saturday Night Fever, the legendary disco film starring an incandescent John Travolta to the sound of the Bee Gees.
A free, accessible festival
The Cinéclub Paradiso offers 600 outdoor seats every evening, supplemented by indoor seating at La Grande Seine in case of rain. Reservations are free but required on the official website. On the food front, restaurants O2 Scènes and Seguin Sound will provide on-site catering.
