Liberate your happiness: MOB HOUSE will get Paris dancing

What if happiness were simply a matter of movement? That’s the bold bet of MOB HOUSE, with a series of workshops led by Femi The Scorpion on their solar rooftop.

Femi The Scorpion: raw energy to electrify summer

The energetic choreographer from Benin returns to Paris from July 4 to 6, 2025 for an experience that is as physical as it is sensory. Femi, trained in both contemporary dance and African traditions, combines instinct, technique and emotion with finesse. His trademark? Freeing, instinctive choreography with no rigid framework. It’s not about performance, but about letting go.

The MOB HOUSE: an arty rooftop in the heart of Saint-Ouen

Located at 70 rue des Rosiers, a stone’s throw from the Paris Flea Market, the @mobhouse.officiel never ceases to amaze. Designed by Cyril Aouizerate, the founder of Mama Shelter, this hybrid space is committed to humanist, local hospitality. Combining ecological awareness with demanding cultural programming, MOB HOUSE offers not just nights, but experiences.

And for this summer, the stage is set: open-air rooftop, sunset over the city, live music, and a single instruction: move, breathe, feel.

Total immersion: 3 days of unfiltered dancing

Over three days, several one-hour dance sessions will be guided by @femi_the_scorpion. Each workshop becomes a collective ritual, a tribute to the liberated body. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, or how flexible you are: here, you come as you are. Our sole aim: to rediscover the simple joy of being in movement.

Between tribal atmospheres, improvisation and direct contact with the elements, these workshops promise an unprecedented connection with oneself and with others.

“Dance like you breathe. Dance to find yourself.”
