Where to dine, have a drink, buy a gourmet gift or find an address with a difference? This week, we’ve put together ten ideas to try out in and around Paris, including restaurants in ParisWe’ve rounded up ten ideas to try out in and around Paris, including restaurants in Paris, traveling cocktail bars, tender chocolates, green terraces, olive oil, truffle spreads and Versailles by the water. To read, to keep, to send before your next reservation.

The right reflex: choose Tekés or Evi Evane for dinner, Kinágua or Mira for a drink, Pierre Chauvet or Plantin for entertaining, Les Hamptons or La Flottille for escaping.

1. Tekés, the plant-based dinner unlike any other

This is the place to go if you want a vegetarian dinner that doesn’t play it safe. Chez TekésAssaf Granit gives vegetarian dishes a generous intensity. Plates arrive to be shared, sauced and commented on. There’s tahini, herbs, spices, warm breads, roasted vegetables and that Levantine energy that makes you want to stay.

From May 21 to 24, 2026, Tekés will also be present at Taste of Paris, at the Grand Palais, with sabich borekas, shawarma-style oyster mushrooms and falafel arayes. We can already imagine the crispy pita, the tingling zhoug and the melting eggplant. Perfect for a lively dinner with friends, when you want taste and rhythm.

2. Evi Evane, Greece in the 6th arrondissement

This is the place to go for a real meal. At Evi Evane, the story of Greece is told by several generations. Maria and Dina Nikolaou founded the house in 2006, before Katerina and Stella Milakis joined the adventure. The result is a cuisine that’s warm, precise and full of sunshine.

We start with the mezzés, and especially with their white tarama with preserved lemon, absolutely remarkable. Creamy, iodized and free of coloring, it has a silky texture that immediately calls for a piece of warm bread. It’s the kind of dish you’d recommend even before reading the rest of the menu. Then come the dolmades, crispy squid and braised octopus, followed by dishes that make you want to extend your lunch: gyros in brick pastry, moussaka with feta cream, portokalopita with orange. The Greek wine list adds a nice note of curiosity, between assyrtiko and xinomavro. An ideal address for a Saturday lunch or dinner with friends in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

3. Pierre Chauvet, the chocolate box that’s sure to please!

It’s the gourmet gift you bring when you don’t want to go wrong. ThePierre Chauvet marshmallow bear box plays on a childhood memory, but in a more polished version.

In their red box, the little bears alternate between dark and milk chocolate. The chocolate cracks, then the marshmallow melts gently. The 175 g box is priced at €19.90 incl. VAT. You can offer it to a dinner party, slip it in next to your coffee, or keep it for yourself. The gourmet treat is simple, tender and effective. The kind that always disappears faster than expected.

4. Kinágua, the asiatic-Portuguese bar in the 2nd arrondissement, booked in advance.

This is the bar to try when you want a drink that’s a change from the all-too-common cocktail. Located at 52 rue Greneta, in the 2nd arrondissement, Kinágua blends Asian and Portuguese influences with cocktails and tapas to share.

The place has all the makings of a fast-moving spot. Subdued lighting, finely-crafted glassware, travel-sized plates and a night-time ambience near Montorgueil. We go there for a date, an afterwork or a birthday in small committee. Kinágua works because it has a clear identity: a little travel, a lot of taste, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a second time.

5. The French Bastards, an ice-cold break that already smells of summer

It’s the place to go when you want a fresh, regressive and very Parisian treat. For summer 2026, The French Bastards is renewing its ice cream range with two formats: Ice Cream Bars and Ice Cream Snacks. After the success of Summer 2025, the company is back with recipes designed as real pleasure bites.

Ice Cream Bars come in three flavors: dark chocolate, chocolate ice cream and raspberry chips; milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel and cookie chips; and white chocolate, pistachio and pistachio cookie. The format is generous and highly visual, perfect for a sweet break between two appointments.

The real novelty is the Ice Cream Snacks: small iced bites coated in milk chocolate, with croissant ice cream and croissant caramel. A treat to share, or not, that transposes the world of Viennese pastries into an iced format. Perfect for a summer afternoon snack, a gourmet stroll or a fresh craving in Paris.

6. Les Hamptons, the terrace near Paris for lunch like on vacation

It’s a good idea when you want to get out of Paris without going far. In Saint-Cloud, Les Hamptons is nestled in the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud hotel, opposite the racecourse.

Two terraces make up the experience. One faces the pool, reserved for hotel guests. The other, under the pine trees, is open to all. In the kitchen, Jonathan Taché-Maréchau creates a fresh, easy-to-understand seasonal menu. Guests come to enjoy a quiet lunch, dine outside or have a drink in the balmy air. Paris is still close by, but the spirit is already racing away for the weekend.

7. Mira, the hidden bar in central Paris to prolong the evening

It’s the place to go when afterwork deserves more than a quick drink. On Rue Saint-Sauveur, Mira hides behind a discreet façade. Inside, stone walls, low lighting and a Palladium sound system create an enveloping atmosphere.

The menu features Mira Mule, Saint-Sauveur Spritz, Spicy Margarita, Basil Smash and Espresso Martini. Pizzas accompany the drinks without breaking the rhythm of the evening. Come for a birthday, a private party, a launch or simply to extend the end of a day in central Paris.

8. Oliviers&Co, the delicatessen to awaken the aperitif

It’s the right thing to do when you want to entertain without complicating things. With Oliviers&Co, olive oil regains its place as a product of pleasure. A few drops on heirloom tomatoes, burrata, grilled vegetables or focaccia is all it takes to change a plate.

The house offers olive oils, vinegars, pestos, tapenades, olives and Mediterranean sweets. Everything invites you to compose a bright, simple and generous table. A good address for a host’s gift, a better-thought-out cupboard or a chic aperitif that already smells of vacations.

9. Plantin, the spreadable truffle that changes everything

This is the product to bring out when you’re having an impromptu aperitif, but still want to make a statement. With its Plantin summer truffle spreads, the Provencal company makes truffles more accessible, more spontaneous.

The collection brings together seven plant-based recipes: artichokes, grilled asparagus, eggplants, zucchinis, carrots and tomatoes, chickpeas and olives. Chickpeas evoke a silkier hummus. Olives have more character. Eggplant adds a Mediterranean note, while zucchini retains a summery freshness. Each 100 g jar is priced at €9.50 inc. With sourdough bread, crudités and a well-chosen glass, the coffee table takes on a whole new look.

10. La Flottille, Versailles on the water for the weekend

This is the address to keep for an easy getaway. In the heart of the Château de Versailles park, La Flottille settles near the Grand Canal, in a setting where people come as much for the food as for the walk.

It’s the perfect place to settle in after a visit, a stroll in the gardens or a walk along the water’s edge. The menu remains in the spirit of a French brasserie, with dishes that are easy to enjoy. The real pleasure lies in the atmosphere: the trees, the boats, the light on the canal, the gentle Versailles atmosphere that makes you want to slow down.
