Festival Lyrique de Paris: four evenings of opera at the Musée Jacquemart-André
What if opera left the stage and moved to the Musée Jacquemart-André? The Festival Lyrique de Paris is set to be one of the cultural highlights of summer 2025.
A first edition in a legendary venue: the Musée Jacquemart-André
From July 3 to 12, 2025, the Musée Jacquemart-André, a sumptuous private mansion on boulevard Haussmann, opens its salons to Opera a Palazzo to host the first edition of the Festival Lyrique de Paris. Four exceptional evenings combining lyrical repertoire, intimate staging and living artistic heritage.
Each performance takes place in the museum’s historic salons, transformed for the occasion into a veritable stage setting. A rare proximity to the artists, an authentic setting, and a program conceived as a human-sized lyrical narrative.
An immersive format, somewhere between a concert and a museum experience
The festival’s promise: opera as close as possible to the audience. No elevated stage or orchestra pit. The artists sing just a few meters from the audience, in a format designed to encourage raw emotion.
Each concert lasts 1h30 and is divided into two acts, separated by a 30-minute intermission. During this interval, the audience can enjoy a glass of champagne while taking a rare evening tour of the museum.
Four themes, four musical journeys
The festival offers a varied program, with each evening focusing on a specific theme:
- Thursday, July 3: Portraits of women, echoing the Artemisia Gentileschi exhibition. Carmen, Suzanna and Augusta Holmès take center stage.
- Saturday July 5: The great love scenes of Italian opera, from Verdi to Puccini.
- Thursday, July 10: Mozart’s great arias, with a selection from The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte…
- Saturday July 12: The great arias of French opera, from Bizet to Delibes.
The artists programmed – including Emilie Rose Bry, Armelle Khourdoïan, Yu Shao and Marc Souchet – are among the most promising voices on the European opera scene, regularly invited to La Scala, the Paris Opera and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
A lyrical and confidential event at the Musée Jacquemart-André
With limited ticket prices ranging from €38 to €170, the Festival Lyrique de Paris is positioned as an insider’s event, combining high musical standards, a heritage setting and top-of-the-range comfort. Opera a Palazzo, the initiator of this initiative, confirms its expertise inimmersive opera, after more than 100 events organized in Paris since 2021.
The Festival Lyrique de Paris 2025 is already establishing itself as a not-to-be-missed event for music lovers and lovers of exceptional venues alike. A new way to bring opera to life… at the heart of History.
