Cannes: Chopard’s sparkling tribute to the 7th art

For 27 years, Chopard has been doing more than just making the stars shine at Cannes. The Swiss House embodies an intimate and creative link between jewelry and cinema.

A Palme born of artistic vision

It all began in 1997, when an intuition by Caroline Scheufele overturned codes: she imagined a new Palme d’Or, now emblematic of the Cannes Film Festival. Forged from ethical gold and set on an emerald-cut rock crystal, this symbolic piece became the beating heart of the alliance between Haute Joaillerie and the 7th art.

Every year since 1998, Chopard has been crafting the Cannes trophies, perpetuating a rare savoir-faire in its Geneva workshops. In 2025, this link continues with renewed intensity.

Red Carpet Collection: 78 creations for 78 editions

In parallel with the Palme, Chopard presents its Red Carpet Collection, an annual showcase of its bold creativity. This year, 78 unique pieces were created around the theme “Caroline’s Universe”. A personal journey through world cultures, poetic shapes and sparkling gemstones.

This blend of elegance and imagination dressed the biggest stars at Chopard’s grand evening on May 19, a true moment of grace on the Croisette.

The future of cinema also in the spotlight

Chopard doesn’t just celebrate established stars. With the Trophée Chopard, awarded on May 16, the House honors two young talents: Marie Colomb and Finn Bennett. The ceremony, presided over by prestigious patron Angelina Jolie, reflects Chopard’s commitment to the artists of tomorrow.

A festival within a festival

From jewels to champagne flutes, Chopard orchestrates its own Cannes story. On the rooftop of the Hôtel Martinez, the House welcomes guests in a refined atmosphere blending Perrier-Jouët, Nespresso, Monestier La Tour wines and Genesis automobile design. Not forgetting its elegant presence at the amfAR gala at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

Chopard, heart of the Festival

At Cannes, Chopard doesn’t parade, it embodies. At each edition, it reminds us that cinema is an art of emotion… and light.
