Midô Paris: the ultra-confidential Nikkei address at the InterContinental Paris
A green courtyard in the heart of Paris, Wagyu beef with robata, and a Pornstar Martini with yuzu: welcome to Midô Paris.
La Môme brings its art of living to the heart of Parisian luxury
After conquering Cannes and Monte-Carlo, the La Môme Group invites itself to the capital with Midô Paris, its new confidential Nikkei restaurant nestled in theHôtel InterContinental, a stone’s throw from Place Vendôme. Far from the flashy addresses, Midô cultivates hushed elegance, with sea-green marble, deep velvet and touches of bamboo. The decor, designed by Hugo Toro, is conceived as a sensory voyage between Japan and South America.
Refined, narrative Nikkei cuisine
In the kitchen, chef Christopher Brugnaux orchestrates a menu of sharing and precision, where each dish becomes a dialogue between two continents. Among the must-try dishes: “Midô style” salmon tiradito, shrimp tempura with spicy aioli sauce, Nakaochi-style otoro tartare, or Wagyu beef grilled with vegetable charcoal and cherry wood.
Sushi lovers will find much more than just the classics here: hand-sliced sashimi, carefully sculpted nigiri, bold maki, and even temaki revisited in a Midô sauce. A cuisine that is both demanding and intuitive, daring fusions with sobriety and technique.
Signature cocktails: the experience continues at the bar
The bar, designed as an extension of the table, focuses on exclusive cocktails. Here, no revisited Mojitos, but creations such as the Japanese Pornstar Martini (vodka ginger, yuzu, Champagne), or the Pisco Sakura Sour with shiso and cherry blossom. Each creation is adapted to the dish, for a gastronomic experience in perfect harmony.
Tableware by Vallauris
Each plate is designed by ceramist Tino Aiello, French pottery champion, in dialogue with the chefs. The aim? To combine craftsmanship and contemporary design, right down to the smallest detail.
