The Ritz Paris unveils the chicest terrace for summer 2025

Paris’s most legendary palace reinvents itself this summer with a brand new feature. The legendary Ritz Paris, nestled at 15 place Vendôme, is inaugurating its first temporary summer terrace. A refined bubble of greenery, designed as a poetic setting to enjoy summer in the heart of the capital’s most luxurious district.

A historic first on the Place Vendôme

Opened in 1898, the Ritz Paris is much more than a hotel: it’s an institution, once frequented by Coco Chanel, Marcel Proust and Ernest Hemingway. This summer 2025, the illustrious palace is taking to the air and investing in the outdoors by creating a 200 m² terrace, a veritable Parisian garden lined with boxwood, jasmine and climbing roses, with the majestic Vendôme column as a backdrop.

Designed to embody the timeless elegance of the Ritz, this terrace invites you to stroll through the afternoon and evening. Parisian bistro-style tables and delicate floral decor create a setting as romantic as it is exclusive.

Haute couture cocktails and exceptional tapas

Ritz sommelier Florian Guilloteau has created three refreshing cocktails that are both original and elegant. Mirabelle & Verbena, Blackcurrant & Mint, and Lemon, Passion & Vanilla. Each creation can be enjoyed with or without champagne, for a tailor-made moment in the image of the palace.

These cocktails are accompanied by carefully crafted summer tapas.Blinis with smoked salmon and lemon caviar, tzatziki with cucumber and rhubarb pickles, or brioche sandwiches with pastrami. A short but full-flavored menu, ideal to accompany a golden end to the day on the square.

Ice cream, fresh fruit and sweet treats to go

Sweet tooths are not forgotten: an artisanal ice-cream cart offers original flavours such as strawberry-hibiscus or mango Alphonso. These can be eaten in or taken away, with personalized toppings. For those who prefer something lighter, we also offer red fruit cups with whipped cream. All in a hushed, chic and resolutely summery atmosphere.
