Brunch + swimming pool: the winning duo for back-to-school

Why choose between eating well and cooling off? The summer of 2025 is shaping up to be a hot one, and places that combine tasty brunch and elegant swimming are becoming must-visits.
Here are three brunch + swimming spots tested and validated for their atmosphere, their menu… and their temperate water.

Molitor: the Art Deco icon where you can dine before diving in

It’s one of Paris’s most legendary venues. The Hôtel Molitor, in the 16th arrondissement, offers a generous brunch every Sunday, followed by access to its emblematic pools.

Ultra-sophisticated sweet and savory buffet: homemade viennoiseries, minute organic eggs, fresh salads, mini burgers and refined pastries.
All served in the elegant setting of the hotel restaurant, overlooking the outdoor pool.

After coffee, we head for the year-round heated pool, surrounded by blue cabins and a silence rare in Paris.
Chic atmosphere, discreet customers, professional service.

The MOB House in Saint-Ouen: green, arty and truly relaxed

  brunch

This atypical venue, designed by Philippe Starck, combines a hotel, a raw-wood terrace, a vegetable garden and a large outdoor swimming pool.
Every Sunday, a homemade brunch is served in the large room bathed in light or on the green terrace.

On the menu: organic produce, sourdough bread, poached eggs, herbed shortbread, farmhouse yoghurts and freshly squeezed juices.
The atmosphere is calm, relaxed and very Saint-Ouen, creative and sustainable.

The swimming pool, which is long and not very busy in the morning, completes the experience with elegance.
We often spend the whole afternoon there, leafing through a book under the parasols.

Domaine de Maffliers: a chic escape

  brunch

Looking for greenery, space and a real moment of relaxation? Then head for the Domaine de Maffliers, a château-hotel nestled in a forest just 45 minutes from Paris.

Every Sunday, a country-style brunch takes place in the gardens or in the renovated orangery.
On the menu: local produce, sourdough bread, fine charcuterie, farmhouse cheeses, savoury tarts and homemade desserts.

Access to the heated outdoor swimming pool, lined with deckchairs, completes the experience with elegance.
Discreet luxury, to be enjoyed alone, as a duo or with the family.

The art of brunching differently

A good brunch is good. A brunch + pool is a successful day.
These three addresses prove that it’s possible to combine gourmet delights, elegance and aquatic relaxation, without leaving the Paris region.

Try it out next weekend… or treasure it for a well-deserved break.
