Since 1931, the Reverso has been closely linked to the equestrian world, originally designed to protect the dials of polo players. Jaeger-LeCoultre has therefore chosen to honor theyear of the horse with this limited edition. A symbol of power, freedom and vitality, the horse is immortalized on the back of the watch. A spectacular engraving in which the animal springs from golden clouds, set against a backdrop of opaque black Grand Feu enamel.

When know-how becomes a work of art

Each watch required over 80 hours of engraving and perfect mastery of Grand Feu enameling. The horse, chiseled with extreme precision, seems animated by the movement… while the brilliance of the black enamel adds depth and intensity. The dial features the same dark, sober and elegant hue, punctuated by faceted hour-markers and Dauphine hands in an Art Deco spirit.
