Plant-based make-up specialist Le Rouge Français opens its first store in Paris
Cosmetics brand Le Rouge Français, founded in 2019 by Élodie Carpentier and Salem Ghezaili, has just reached a major milestone. It is opening its first physical boutique in Paris, an immersive space that brings to life its world of lipsticks and plant-based cosmetics.
A jewel in the Marais, in the heart of Paris
The new address is on rue de Turenne, in the Marais district, close to Place des Vosges. A historic and elegant district, ideal for embodying the brand’s refined identity. This boutique-showroom offers a sensory experience: visitors can discover Le Rouge Français’ unique process, based on plant pigments – roucou, madder, hibiscus, Damask rose – extracted using patented techniques. Visitors can test the products, touch the textures and understand the ecological, sustainable and artisanal approach.
A pioneering brand in botanical make-up
Le Rouge Français doesn’t just offer products. It has chosen to design everything from the ground up: R&D, formulation, plant extraction and manufacturing. Pigments come from dye plants, and the brand ensures traceability: ethical sourcing, organic formulations, vegan ingredients. It also claims a regenerative economy. Already distributed in over 100 points of sale internationally – in the United States at Neiman Marcus and Credo Beauty – the brand aims to strengthen its position in France. It is preparing to enter 50 Nocibé boutiques, out of a potential 500 stores.
The brand’s ambitions
With the opening of this boutique, Le Rouge Français has taken a physical step forward. The brand hopes to boost its visibility, increase direct sales and provide a meeting place for loyal customers. At the same time, it is raising 1.5 million euros via the Tudigo platform, which is already well advanced. The money raised will be used to industrialize production and enhance the company’s international presence. The aim is to achieve sales of 10 million euros by 2027…Cocorico!!!!
