Artcurial & Pierre Hermé: Haute Pâtisserie makes a commitment to children
On December 1, Artcurial’s prestigious Hôtel particulier, nestling on the Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées, will become the setting for an event as refined as it is moving. Alongside Pierre Hermé, 25 of the most talented pastry chefs of their generation will unite their art for an essential cause: childhood. Together, they will sign the very first Haute Pâtisserie auction in France, an unprecedented event where gourmandise and generosity come together to perfection.
When pastry excellence serves the heart
Under the impetus of Pierre Hermé, the greatest names in French patisserie will deliver exclusive creations, conceived as veritable ephemeral works of art. These exceptional sweets will be auctioned off to benefit BAB Charity, an association founded by Alexandre Bader and dedicated to the well-being of children with leukemia hospitalized at the Armand Trousseau Hospital.
Since 2008, BAB Charity has been taking concrete action: renovation of sterile rooms, creation of spaces for families, and soon, the restoration of an entire floor. Every mouthful, every bid, will contribute to making these courageous children a little sweeter.
Pierre Hermé, leader of a committed generation
“Mobilizing the talents of our profession around a major cause, with high standards, creativity and benevolence”: these are the words of Pierre Hermé, mastermind of this unprecedented initiative. The idea? To highlight the strength of a collective driven by passion and emotion. For these chefs, patisserie is no longer limited to gustatory pleasure: it becomes a universal language of love and sharing.
Artcurial, a showcase for the changing art of cooking

With this charity sale, Artcurial confirms its status as an avant-garde house, open to all fields of creation. “Patisserie is now a culinary art in its own right,” confides auctioneer Arnaud Oliveux. On this evening, flavors will dialogue with shapes, textures and emotions, in a setting where French excellence will shine in all its facets. A gustatory, visual and deeply human moment.
An exceptional evening not to be missed
More than a charity event, this evening promises to be a celebration of the beautiful, the good and the generous. Visitors will be able to discover the creations at the public exhibition from November 27 to December 1, prior to the sale on Monday December 1 at 8pm.
