Les illuminations des Champs-Élysées 2025, an enchantment from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe

At 6.30pm on Sunday November 17, Paris will once again be ablaze. The Champs-Élysées, the legendary thoroughfare where the heart of the capital beats, will be decked out in lights. As night falls, the autumn air will be filled with the scent of celebration and anticipation. . Che special thrill of a promising evening. All along the avenue, shop windows are already sparkling. . Onlookers will stop and stare at the plane trees as they prepare to light up.

Léa Seydoux, radiance and mystery

This year, Léa Seydoux will have the honor of flipping winter’s most eagerly awaited switch. A magnetic actress and Parisian muse par excellence, she is the perfect embodiment of the subtle light and slightly melancholy softness of the capital. At 6:30 p.m. sharp, her gesture will trigger the wave of light that will make over a million LEDs sparkle all the way to the Arc de Triomphe. A suspended moment, where cinema and the city come together in the same radiance.

A total show, with sound and light

Created by Thierry Reboul (Unité) and set to music by Victor Le Masne, Stereophonie promises a sensory experience that’s both immersive and poetic. Sounds, projections and lights will interact in a staging conceived as an open-air work of art. The avenue will be transformed into a living, vibrant, almost symphonic score. For a few minutes, the whole of Paris will have its eyes riveted to the sky, a shared emotion.

Swarovski’s art of detail

This 2025 edition will also be marked by the collaboration of Swarovski, official partner of the illuminations. The Austrian company’s crystals will be integrated into the lighting decorations, reflecting the beams in a subtle, refined play of sparkle. A touch of elegance, almost invisible, but essential, because in Paris, luxury is more a matter of guessing than showing off.

This is how Paris shines: between tradition and modernity, between effervescence and grace. And on the Champs-Élysées, this light doesn’t just illuminate the city – it illuminates our winters.
