Chanel’s Coco Beach 2026 collection lays the foundations for an ideal seaside summer. Wild silk, woven raffia and parasols stamped with the double C make up this summer wardrobe. In this way, the French fashion house revisits its heritage with a relaxed elegance, designed for days by the ocean.

A tribute to Gabrielle and the Basque coast

This collection comes on the heels of Matthieu Blazy’s first Croisière 2026/27 show, presented in Biarritz on April 28. The show paid tribute to Gabrielle Chanel, who in 1915 opened her couture house facing the Atlantic. As a result, the spirit of the Basque coast permeates every piece in Coco Beach 2026.

Basque stripes, a nautical universe and bursts of color make up this collection. The dialogue between sportswear and elegance remains the house’s summer signature. The campaign, photographed by Julien Martinez Leclerc, features these silhouettes on a black sand beach.

Models Sun Mizrahi, Rebecca Leigh and Elodie Guipaud embody this summer wardrobe. The unexpected decor contrasts with the lightness of the pieces presented. Indeed, the black sand evokes the emblematic color of the house.

“Wild silk brightened by the sun, raffia woven like summer velvet, parasols stamped with the double C… the Coco Beach 2026 collection sets the terms for an ideal summer.”

Noble, hand-crafted materials

The collection is all about materials. Silk twill and wild silk, worked on the reverse side, offer slightly faded colors. These hues seem brightened by the sun, as if after hours on the beach.

A raffia weave has been specially designed for this line. It resembles an ultra-light summer velvet to the touch. The denim, meanwhile, is embroidered with twisted threads reminiscent of a fishing net. These artisanal gestures give each piece a rare sensoriality.

A vibrant palette and a marine bestiary

Reds, oranges and bright pastels take center stage in this collection. The silhouettes revisit Gabrielle fundamentals: flowing daytime pyjamas, two-tone ensembles and revisited marinières. The house’s codes remain discreet but present, from the double C to the stripe.

Beneath the waves, an enchanted bestiary comes to life. Mermaids, starfish, shells and coral appear in charms and embroidery. Guipure and prints bathed in light tell underwater stories. This poetic imagination runs through the entire collection.

From jewelry to accessories, this marine theme is subtly expressed. Aquatic motifs adorn bags and garments alike. This consistency reinforces the line’s seaside identity.

Accessories designed for the beach

The transparent bucket bag with its aquatic motif is a real eye-catcher. A large tote bag highlighted with raffia braid completes the offer. Fishnet shoes and sportswear-inspired banded shorts add a casual touch.

Coco Beach 2026 is a collection to slip straight into your summer suitcase. Each piece combines elegance and practicality for days by the water. The wardrobe is complete, from swimwear to beach accessories.

An ephemeral boutique in the heart of Biarritz

In conjunction with the show, Chanel reopened an address at 3-5 rue Gardères in Biarritz. This location is exactly where Gabrielle Chanel set up shop over a century ago. The ephemeral boutique will remain open until September 27.

The space features the Coco Beach 2026 collection in an Art Deco setting. The decor was conceived as a direct extension of the Croisière show. It also features lifestyle pieces signed by the house.

Locally shapped surfboards and umbrellas bearing the double C logo are also available. Shoes with neoprene toe caps complete the seaside offering. This art of summer living embodies the house’s vision for the season.

Fashion lovers can enjoy an immersive experience. The boutique translates Gabrielle’s spirit of freedom into everyday objects. For one summer, Biarritz once again becomes an emblematic location for the French fashion house.
