A historic establishment prestigious
Built in 1889 forWorld Exhibition, Grand Hotel Terminus was then the first settlement near a station. Since its creation, it has established itself as an important, refined and modern Parisian hotspot. Spread over 6 floors and served by 3 lifts, its 500 rooms were equipped with electricity and telephone, the furniture came from the Grands Magasins du Louvre… At the time of the inauguration, the building was even directly linked to the Gare Saint- Lazarus by a catwalks in height! This is unheard of for the time.
Under the leadership of hilton group since 2013, it is then renamed 'Hilton Paris Opera' in January 2015.
A sublime decor classified as a historic monument
As soon as you pass through the beautiful wooden doors of the hotel, you are immediately amazed by the splendor of the Large lounge, to the atmosphere Belle Epoque : superb crystal chandeliers, huge frescoes, mirrors, bronzes and other Corinthian-style colonnades… All are classified monuments, not to mention the superb paintings and sculptures signed Charles Joseph Lameire.
Elegant and comfortable rooms
Decorated in a classic Parisian style, the 268 bedrooms are all based on the same model. Light carpets, gray walls with white trim, silky cream-coloured curtains, mirrors, pedestal tables…. The chic signature of the Hilton group is simple and comfortable. Everything is beautiful and well thought out. Special mention for the underfloor heating of gorgeous marble bathrooms and the double glazing (ultra-efficient!) which promises a truly welcome silence.
