For the festive season of 2025, the Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, unveils a Yule log created in collaboration with the Christofle goldsmiths. A rare and spectacular association, uniting two emblematic institutions of French luxury and heritage around the same ambition: to sublimate festive rituals with an unprecedented brilliance.

A palace undergoing a transformation from the end of November

From the end of November, the Crillon will be decked out in lights, transforming itself into a winter fairytale setting. The XVIIIᵉ edifice signed Ange-Jacques Gabriel is adorned with glittering facades, while two monumental fir trees frame its entrance, dressed in gold and silver ornaments imagined by Christofle.
Inside, each communal area features decorative pieces and contemporary installations from the House of Goldsmiths. The fir trees, in particular, feature ornaments from the Bouquet Givré collection, a lush plant composition that celebrates winter with sophistication.
The scenography continues in the lobby, where Christofle also exhibits its Perspectives collection, designed with artist Mathias Kiss – a collaboration already linked to the history of the Crillon.

A sculptural log inspired by the Crillon façade

At the heart of this collaboration is Pastry Chef Matthieu Carlin ‘s exceptional creation, inspired by Christofle’s Malmaison Impériale motif. The log features a miniature version of the palace’s majestic façade, framed by two white chocolate fir trees. Gourmet and regressive, it unfurls an architecture of flavors where Madagascar vanilla mousse marries with almond and speculoos praline crunch, while apple compote and a soft cookie complete this refined composition. The result is a log that is both precise and generous, combining the elegance of Crillon’s heritage with the chef’s contemporary signature.

A limited edition galette des rois

The collaboration continues into January with an equally exceptional galette des rois. Christofle has designed an exclusive bean and crown for the occasion, while the galette consists of a frangipane delicately flavored with Madagascar vanilla, accompanied by a pot of almond-speculoos praline.

Christofle, almost two centuries of excellence

Founded in Paris in 1830, Christofle remains one of the great names in French art de vivre. A royal and imperial supplier, the company has been perpetuating its unique expertise in tableware, jewelry and decoration for almost two centuries, while regularly collaborating with contemporary designers. This sustainable vision of luxury is perfectly reflected in our collaboration with the Crillon.
