After several months of renovation and a major facelift, the Hotel Victor Hugo has just reopened its doors to the public, more sumptuous than ever.

Nestled in a beautiful Art Deco building from the 30s, the Victor Hugo hotel was renovated by Jacques White, a maestro of the domain. For this project, the historic restorer has surrounded himself withArnaud Dupin, his right-hand man since 2008.

Under the leadership of this shock duo, mythical establishment of the 16th arrondissement has turned into a box of sweetness, with a very marked art deco universe. Offering the elegance, charm and refinement of a private Parisian residence, the hotel first opens onto a superb lobby displaying a black and white marble carpet.

The walls of monochrome boudoir living rooms are upholstered in emerald green, celadon, Adrianople red and Givenchy pink velvet with mirror blade trellises to subtly delineate the spaces. Here, several styles combine brilliantly to give life to this unique place!

Le cozy bar also worth a visit. Thought in a chic and subdued atmosphere for moments of pleasure and conviviality, enjoy a drink under the deep blue velvet walls.

As to 75 bedrooms, they were designated by Laurent Maugoust like little modern and comfortable "cocoons", displaying noble, timeless materials. In addition to the contemporary decoration (shades of pearl grey, walls hung with suede and Jacquard weaved with beautiful luminous threads, graphic wall lights...) we especially like the beautiful leopard pattern carpetavailable in 3 shades red, green, blue – dear to Madeleine Castaing, one of the greatest decorators of the XNUMXth century.

Un superb case to discover 2 steps from Champs-Élysées...
