Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is transforming its rooftop into a must-visit summer destination with the opening of an ephemeral bar in the colors of the French Riviera. In addition to the Balcon restaurant, from June 18, 2026, La Douce Heure will welcome visitors to the 8th floor of the famous Parisian department store.
This collaboration between St-Germain, the French elderflower liqueur, and Galeries Lafayette promises a unique experience. Michelin-starred chef Cyril Lignac has designed the menu for this new summer venue.
A Parisian rooftop transformed for summer 2026
Galeries Lafayette’s panoramic terrace is decked out in fresh, bright colors to welcome this ephemeral bar. The design evokes the art of living in the South of France, with its characteristic green and white parasols. Access is via 25 rue de la Chaussée d’Antin, directly on the 8th floor. La Douce Heure opens its doors from midday to midnight every day, offering different atmospheres according to the time of day.

La Florale offers crudités accompanied by a creamy tzatziki sauce. La Fraîcheur features sea bream crudo with elderberry, mimosa eggs and a beef carpaccio inspired by Venice. A watermelon-feta combination adds a Mediterranean touch.
La Douceur closes this gourmet trio with a revisited tropézienne. This emblematic pastry is accompanied by a peach salad flavored with verbena. Sweet and fruity flavors come together harmoniously.
