Where can you enjoy an open-air concert in Paris this summer of 2025?
In summer, the capital unfurls its open-air stage, from parks to the quays of the Seine, from wastelands to hidden gardens. From free festivals and sunset DJ sets to classical concerts in historic venues, the summer music scene promises to be as eclectic as it is refreshing.
La Villette: the park becomes a giant stage
It’s one of the highlights of the Parisian musical summer. From June 26 to August 11 2025, the “Jazz à La Villette – Hors les murs” festival offers free open-air concerts in the Parc de La Villette.
Contemporary jazz, groove, funk, world music… The program features both young talent and established figures.
Concerts take place at the end of the day, often around the Prairie du cercle nord.
Remember to come early to find a place on the grass, especially at weekends.

Les Arènes de Lutèce: classical music in an antique setting
Every summer, this Roman amphitheatre hidden away in the 5th arrondissement offers a unique setting for open-air classical music concerts.
In 2025, the “Musique aux Arènes ” festival returns from July 4 to 20, with a demanding yet accessible program.
On the program: Mozart, Schubert, Debussy… but also contemporary creations.
The acoustic quality of the venue is surprisingly good, and the atmosphere almost unreal at sunset.
Free admission, with reservation.

Le Cabaret Sauvage: world and guinguette ambience
Located on the banks of the Canal de l’Ourcq, the Cabaret Sauvage organizes a series of outdoor concerts every summer, under its famous open-top tent.
In 2025, the “L’été du Cabaret” festival (July 11 to August 30) welcomes artists from Africa, Latin America and the Balkans.
There’s more dancing than listening. The setting is festive and colorful, open to families and party-goers alike.
Admission varies from 10 to 20 euros depending on the evening.

DJ sets at Jardin21 and Cité Fertile
For electro fans, these two hybrid venues in eastern Paris have become benchmarks.
At Jardin21 (a stone’s throw from the Parc de La Villette), you can listen to chill or house DJ sets every weekend, in the open air, with your feet in the grass.
La Cité Fertile, a former train station transformed into a third-party venue, also offers live music and DJ sets in a festive, committed atmosphere.
Both venues also host food trucks, workshops, and sometimes designer markets.
Admission is often free before 8pm.
