Paris Design Week 2025: the city embraces bold design

Art

Paris Design Week returns from September 4 to 13, 2025. The event transforms Paris into a living gallery. Exhibitions, installations, workshops and meetings with designers will punctuate the capital. A total immersion in innovative design, accessible to all.

A city transformed into a creative journey

Paris Design Week takes place in the iconic districts of Marais, Bastille, Opéra and Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Over 400 venues are taking part, with vernissages, ephemeral boutiques and scenic window displays. The event also accompanies Maison&Objet, proposing an urban circuit linked to the major fairs. The initiative brings together Parisian heritage and contemporary creation.

Factory, emerging talents and inspiring installations

The Factory program puts the spotlight on the new generation of design. Schools, collective studios and young designers exhibit at the Galerie des Gobelins, in Aubervilliers, and in the 4th arrondissement. Among the highlights, Mathieu Lehanneur’s hot-air balloon soars into the Parisian sky, the poetic symbol of this fifteenth edition. Installations in emblematic locations challenge visual codes.

An international, multidisciplinary event

Paris Design Week brings together established designers, institutions and visitors from all over the world. It celebrates the centenary of the Arts Décoratifs, highlighting iconic houses such as Leblon Delienne, Archik Paris and Oberflex. Designers, architects, stylists and chefs present a vision of design that blends innovation, art de vivre and the avant-garde. The festival becomes a moment of creative tension, aesthetic engagement and shared emotion.
