This weekend in Paris, we’re comforting ourselves from the cold by indulging in the gourmet pleasures and charm of the Christmas atmosphere that reigns in the streets of Paris.

FELINI: The neo-bistro setting the 9ᵉ arrondissement alight

Located between Saint-Georges, Opéra and Pigalle, FELINI is an instant eye-catcher – and a crowd-pleaser – thanks to its large window behind which a vibrant, lively kitchen comes to life. Inside, the raw, contemporary atmosphere blends wood, vintage furniture and muted lighting for a decor as warm as it is masterful. At the helm, the talented duo Laura Hyppolito and Alexandre Guyader, both of whom have worked in some of Paris’s finest establishments, offer a sincere and dynamic Franco-Italian cuisine. Beef tartare with parmigiano or red tuna crudo with jalapeños are seductive, before we embark on our homemade tortelloni, served al dente and topped with an addictive tomato-pepper sauce. The chicken supreme, melting and scented with thyme, confirms the flawlessness, as does the plum-figus crumble with honey mascarpone cream. An invaluable address for those lovely evenings in the neighborhood.
