Mélanie Klein, product manager at Typology, explains that the micro-needles act as delivery vehicles: they allow EGF and PDRN, molecules that are normally too large to cross the skin barrier, to penetrate deeper into the epidermis. As a result, their effectiveness is significantly amplified.
