This summer 2026, Le Meurice is rolling out two new gourmet experiences for guests and passers-by alike. On one side, a refined lunch box created by chef Clémentine Bouchon. On the other, a cart of artisan ice creams from Alain Ducasse, set up beneath the arcades of the Parisian palace.

A lunch box by Clémentine Bouchon

Chef Clémentine Bouchon has designed a lunch box that puts seasonal flavours front and centre. It opens with a fresh salad, followed by a veal pastrami bun. For those who prefer vegetarian fare, a version filled with creamy mozzarella is also on offer.

Every meal then closes on a sweet note courtesy of Cédric Grolet: two honey-propolis-vanilla madeleines and two cookies. A bottle of chilled water rounds out this practical package. Pick-up takes place at the Le Dalí restaurant reception, from 11am to 3pm.

The lunch box is available until 15 September. It is aimed equally at regulars of the palace and curious visitors strolling along rue de Rivoli.

“Chef Clémentine Bouchon has created, for this summer interlude, a lunch box that puts seasonal flavours in the spotlight.”

What’s inside the lunch box

The line-up is clear and well considered. Each box brings together a starter, a main, and desserts bearing the signature of one of Paris’s great pastry names.

The vegetarian option also means there is something for everyone. Creamy mozzarella steps in for the veal pastrami without any compromise on quality.

The Alain Ducasse ice cream cart is back

Nestled beneath the palace arcades, the cart from the Manufacture de Glace Alain Ducasse returns for the summer season. These frozen creations, served in pots, come in eight flavours built around carefully sourced ingredients.

The line-up includes praline-pistachio, three vanillas, cherry-orgeat, Madagascar chocolate, fresh herbs, mango-passion-coriander, praline-hazelnut, and grapefruit. Each flavour reflects meticulous work with the finest raw materials.

These artisan ice creams are perfect to take away for a stroll through the Tuileries, or for a well-earned break between appointments in the neighbourhood.

Hours and address of the ice cream cart

The cart is open from 1pm to 6pm, at 228 rue de Rivoli, Paris. It will be in place until 15 September, in line with the lunch box.

Both offerings therefore cover the same summer window, making it easy to combine the two experiences in a single visit to the palace.

Practical information

For the lunch box, collection is at the Le Dalí restaurant reception. Hours are 11am to 3pm, Monday to Sunday, until 15 September.

For the ice creams, the Manufacture de Glace Alain Ducasse cart welcomes visitors from 1pm to 6pm beneath the arcades of Le Meurice, at 228 rue de Rivoli. No reservation is required for either offer.

A simple drop-in is all it takes to enjoy these summer creations. Both are available through to mid-September 2026.
