Islands and coastlines: when models on Instagram choose the sea
Lila Moss has touched down in Ibiza to soak up the Spanish sun. At 23, she’s posting shots of hidden coves, boat trips, restaurants and nights out on the island, all shared with her close group of friends. It’s a destination that’s as much about the party as the beach, and her photos say it all.
Jill Kortleve, meanwhile, is confirming her love affair with Portugal by returning for the second consecutive year. Awar Odhiang opted for a less expected destination after a packed fashion season. She headed to Lake Fuschlsee in Austria, just a few minutes from Salzburg. The lake is renowned for the exceptional purity of its water. The model enjoyed wide-open green spaces and went paragliding in the surrounding mountains.
Elsa Hosk, based in Los Angeles, preferred to stay close to home. She spent her holidays in Laguna Beach, California, with her partner, their eldest daughter Tuulikki, aged five, and their newborn Flora Blue, born in July. After a summer spent in the English countryside the year before, the family chose to skip the long-haul flights this time around.

Bella Hadid and the great American outdoors
