When a fragrance inspires an entire makeup line, the boundary between beauty and fashion simply disappears. For autumn 2026, the house on rue Cambon is taking exactly that step with a collection dedicated to Coco Mademoiselle, one of its most iconic women’s fragrances in the world.

A colour palette born from an iconic Chanel bottle

Until now, the Coco Mademoiselle universe was defined by a black-and-gold duo that became instantly recognisable. This time, the house’s makeup creative studio has drawn from a broader source of inspiration, the fragrance’s advertising campaigns, to build a visual identity that is entirely its own.

The result is a palette of beiges and browns lifted by a soft rose. These shades appear most notably in an XXL palette of nine eyeshadows and top coats, the centrepiece of the line. A blush and a nail polish round out the collection, presented as a limited edition.

For makeup lovers, this collection offers a tangible way to extend the olfactory world of the fragrance into their daily beauty routine, with products designed to work together in chromatic harmony.

The lipstick: a bridge between fragrance and jewellery

Among the standout pieces in the line, one lipstick holds a special place. The Rouge Coco Crush comes in a deep plum shade and bears Chanel’s Double C logo engraved directly onto the product. That detail signals its belonging to a fully considered collection, conceived as a cohesive whole.

The name “Crush” is no coincidence. It is a direct reference to the house’s existing jewellery collection of the same name. The choice reflects a clear intention to create creative and commercial synergies across Chanel’s different métiers, from fragrance to jewellery to makeup.

Coco Mademoiselle turns 25: a strategic milestone

This launch arrives in the context of a significant anniversary. Coco Mademoiselle is celebrating its 25th year, and the house has chosen to mark the occasion on several fronts at once.

Alongside the makeup collection, a new iteration of the fragrance is being introduced. Named Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, this version is signed by perfumer Olivier Polge. It is fronted by American singer Gracie Abrams, who becomes the face of this flanker.

  • An XXL palette of nine eyeshadows and top coats
  • A limited-edition blush in beige and brown tones
  • A nail polish matched to the collection’s colour palette
  • A Rouge Coco Crush engraved with the Double C logo
  • A new fragrance, Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, signed by Olivier Polge

This is not the first time the house has taken this approach. Five years ago, Chanel had already leveraged the centenary of its N°5 fragrance to launch a limited-edition makeup line called “Holiday 2021”. The strategy was the same: take the visual codes of an iconic fragrance and transpose them into a cohesive beauty line.

A brand strategy that goes far beyond a product launch

What this collection reveals is a well-honed brand logic. Every anniversary becomes an opportunity to reactivate a flagship fragrance, refresh its image, and expand its territory into other product categories.

For the consumer, this translates into a more complete offering built around a single universe. Buying the fragrance, the lipstick, and the palette means embracing a visual and sensory coherence designed from end to end by the house. The Coco Mademoiselle makeup collection is therefore not simply a companion piece to the fragrance, it is a considered extension of its identity.

Available as a limited edition for autumn 2026, the line speaks equally to loyal Coco Mademoiselle devotees and to makeup enthusiasts in search of a collection with a strong visual signature.
