Lacoste invites itself to the Shangri-La: a taste experience like no other

An unexpected encounter between hotel luxury and sporting lifestyle. Lacoste takes over the prestigious Shangri-La Paris for a summer of gastronomy, design… and crocodiles.

Lacoste’s double immersion

Until October 30, 2025, Lacoste is unveiling an original collaboration with the Shangri-La Paris luxury hotel, offering Parisians and tourists alike two complementary, carefully staged experiences.

First stop: Pavillon Lacoste, 8 avenue d’Iéna. In this street-food corner open to all, the brand offers a mischievous pop menu: embossed waffles, revisited ice creams, crocodile-shaped cookies. The ambience is resolutely urban, designed to appeal to passers-by as well as aficionados of Lacoste style.

A haute couture experience in the Shangri-La gardens

More confidential, the second space – named Summer By Lacoste – takes place in the gardens of the Shangri-La. Available by reservation for lunch and dinner, this venue is a gastronomic extension of the Michelin-starred La Bauhinia restaurant. On the menu: raspberry-pistachio entremets with big teeth, graphic cocktails, and a menu subtly infused with the brand’s codes.

This interplay between high gastronomy and sporting DNA illustrates a clear strategy: the elevation of Lacoste’s positioning towards a more assertive, but still relaxed, luxury.

Lacoste, a conscious move upmarket

This Parisian collaboration is part of a wider strategy pursued by MF Brands, owner of Lacoste as well as Gant and Aigle. With sales of almost 3 billion euros in 2024, the group aims to break through the 4 billion mark by 2030.

One of the key initiatives in this move upmarket is the opening of a spectacular flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York. A 1,000 sq. m. space dedicated to the brand’s heritage, the antithesis of the more sportswear-oriented boutiques of the past.

An address to try before autumn

Between hotel refinement and regressive pleasure, this Lacoste x Shangri-La collaboration promises to be the lifestyle event of the summer in Paris. For the curious and the gourmet alike, visit 8 and 10 avenue d’Iéna until mid-October.
