Tempora: the Bar menu at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand plays with the senses and the seasons
At the Bar de l’InterContinental Paris Le Grand, mixology can be read in a mirror. With “Tempora”, its new menu, the Parisian address at the foot of the Opera imagines an experience where each cocktail finds its alcohol-free reflection, with the same demand for taste, balance and creativity.
A map designed as a mirror game
With Tempora, the Bar de l’InterContinental Paris Le Grand offers an elegant interpretation of contemporary mixology. Inspired by the cycle of the seasons and the idea of the ephemeral, this new menu plays on a simple yet contemporary principle: every alcoholic creation also exists in a non-alcoholic version. The mocktail is not conceived as a secondary option. It’s a creation in its own right, crafted with the same precision as a cocktail. In this way, the experience becomes more inclusive, without losing any of its sophistication. This approach gives the menu real coherence. It allows everyone to experience the same moment, with or without alcohol, around the same universe of taste.

Four creations, four inner seasons
The menu is structured around four main creations, each with its own character.
Bom Hwa opens the tasting on a sweet, floral note. This creation blends peach soju, peach liqueur, rice milk, peach purée and cherry blossom Kori Dashi iced tea. The result is a delicate, almost milky interlude with Asian accents.
Hibiscal asserts a more vibrant personality. With house-made bissap, Mezcal X and hibiscus syrup, the cocktail finds its balance between tart freshness and smoky depth. A more intense proposition, ideal for those who love creations with a strong character.

With Rouge Printemps, the menu explores a fruitier, brighter palette. Monkey 47 gin meets goji berry liqueur, fresh lemon juice and homemade goji syrup. The creation plays on a tangy liveliness, enhanced by a light sweetness.
Finally, Red Velvet Old Fashioned offers a more enveloping reading. The red-fruit-infused Woodford Reserve bourbon is enriched by notes of cherry, chocolate and red-fruit yoghurt clarification. The texture is silky, almost gourmand, with lovely aromatic depth.
Alcohol-free know-how
Tempora ‘s strength lies in its approach to non-alcoholic beverages. Kevin Jolivet, Restaurant Manager, sums up the spirit of the menu perfectly. According to him, non-alcoholic drinks are no longer a default alternative, but the mirror image of a true mixologist’s savoir-faire. The idea is playful: by turning the menu over to face the mirror, guests discover that the essence of the taste remains intact.
This approach corresponds to a strong trend in the luxury hotel industry. Today’s guests are looking for freer, more personalized experiences, without compromising on pleasure. The Bar at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand responds with finesse, giving the mocktail its rightful place.
