Shop for a pretty candle

Small accessible luxury to all, the spark plugs represent the ideal gift to treat yourself. Whether it is to embalm a room or just as a decorative object, it is not difficult to integrate it into your interior... In the editorial staff, our favorite is the Mon Beau Sapin candle branded Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Emblematic of the end-of-year celebrations, it embellishes your home with a sweet smell of Christmas, characteristic of a resinous balsam fir, which slowly leads towards a forest... Go see an exhibition fascinating

On the occasion of the 150anniversary of the birth of Marcel Proust,  Carnavalet Museum devotes a fascinating exhibition to him, which will delight all lovers of literature. From next December 16, you will be able to discover the special relationship that the writer had with Paris, his city of birth, through " Marcel Proust, a Parisian novel ". The place of the capital in the Proustian novel is also mentioned.

If the first part of the exhibition explores "the Parisian universe of Marcel Proust" and therefore the neighborhoods in which he lived, the following highlights the writer's creative universe: the bedroom, this place where reality becomes novel. Finally, the last part follows the architecture of the mythical novel In search of lost time. In total, approximately 280 works, manuscripts and archival documents – all from public and private collections – will be exhibited. A nice retrospective allowing us to rediscover this iconic author of the early XNUMXth century.
