To celebrate 150 years of Impressionism, “Paris 1874, inventing Impressionism”, at the Musée d'Orsay 

Du March 26 to July 14, 2024,  Musée d'Orsay this “Paris 1874, inventing impressionism”. This is an ideal opportunity to discover or rediscover nearly 130 works belonging to this exceptional artistic movement. The exhibition then puts into perspective a selection of works presented during the impressionist exhibition of 1874 with paintings and sculptures on display at the same time at the official Salon. This unique confrontation allows us to relive the visual shock of the works exhibited by the Impressionists, while providing nuances through parallels and overlapsunexpected events between the first impressionist exhibition as well as the official Salon.
