New spring menu at Café de la Paix
Le Chef Laurent Andre offers a new, always gourmet and generous menu for Afternoon tea. Every weekend between 15 p.m. and 17 p.m., the Intercontinental Paris – Le Grand offers in its elegant Second Empire decor, a moment of indulgence in a warm atmosphere. The ideal meeting with family or friends for a totally British Tea Time, but made in Paris!
The famous café then takes on the appearance of a winter garden, rich in delights and surprises. With the program a tasting of delicious classics and teas from the four corners of the world.
On the menu for the Afternoon Tea at Café de la Paix
In addition to a vast selection of teas from the four corners of the world, a tasting of essential classics awaits you. The famous caramelized millefeuille, emblem of Café de la Paix, sandwiches with confit duck foie gras and fig-grape chutney, financiers, madeleines and a variety of artisanal jams.
For the Afternoon Tea at La Verrière, you will have to count 50€ for one person, or €65 with glass of champagne. And 90 € for two people. Or €115 with glass of champagne included.
This offer is distinguished in particular by a wide selection of teas. Or mate (traditional South American drink) and matcha, which both require very specific know-how.
For the choice of plates, you will have the choice between a savory plate or a sweet plate. The first consists of 4 mini sandwiches with varied flavors. And the second, an assortment of mini pastries. A plate garnished with vanilla and chocolate cake, Parisian fig jam, which replace the traditional scones.
