Michelin keys: a new distinction
After 4 years of work, the MICHELIN Guide teams have rethought their selection in terms of hotels. The famous guide now intends to independently recommend establishments that constitute real destinations. The objective of this award is to direct customers towards establishments that excel in all areas. Like the architectural biases, the professional know-how and the affirmation of its own personality.
For this new selection, the MICHELIN Guide teams have therefore chosen to highlight establishments that place the art of receiving at the highest and help to create unique experiences.
The Michelin Guide selection teams have thus unveiled the first Michelin Key rankings for the first half of 2024, and 9 Parisian hotels have received the prestigious 3 keys distinction.

The Parisian winners
Among the Parisian hotels having received the Trois Clefs Michelin distinction are 5 of the 12 palaces in the capital. La Réserve, the Four Seasons George V, Le Bristol, Le Meurice, and the Plaza Athénée.
The four other addresses are also among the most prestigious. We thus find in this very selective list, establishments like the Ritz Paris, and the White Horse. The two remaining hotels are charming and atypical addresses, which meet all the Michelin Keys selection criteria.
The St. James
Very atypical, the Saint James Paris is a private hotel in an independent building. Better yet, a building that looks like a rural castle surrounded by an enclosed garden. Recently renovated from top to bottom by Laura Gonzalez, it offers visitors a more subtle and sophisticated setting, but no less expressive. House Villeroy
With only eleven rooms and suites, the Villeroy hotel offers as much luxury as the Parisian palaces. Each of the suites is presidential class. The rooms, although they offer considerably less space, lack nothing in terms of comfort. All are decorated with splendid marble bathrooms, custom-made Promemoria furniture and handmade Vispring mattresses. A true haven of tranquility and luxury, located au 33 rue Jean Goujon, 75008.
