The Veuve Clicquot Champagne House has concocted a getaway aboard the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, linking Vienna to Reims this summer. An ideal journey for lovers of champagne and adventure!

Since 250 years, the Veuve Clicquot House is symbolized by the yellow “sun”. The color of the historic label of its champagnes. It invites lovers of champagne and adventure to follow the path of the sun from East to West aboard the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, train Belmond.

An exclusive itinerary between Vienna and Reims, cradle of the House, offered for this sole occasion. Thus, the House invites world-renowned Chefs to take part in this unique experience. Indeed, throughout the journey, the best of gastronomy is at the rendezvous.

And this from the departure of the train, during an exclusive dinner where the cuisine Star chef Jean Imbert, signature chef of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Veuve Clicquot ambassador, will pair with the House's rarest vintages. Until arrival in Reims, a 4-handed lunch will be orchestrated with the Star chef Mory Sacko which will close the experience.

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable experience of 3 days in Europe with Veuve Clicquot ! First, start by being welcomed to the prestigious Imperial Hotel Vienna. In homage to the History of Veuve Clicquot as a supplier to the Viennese court. Continue with a gourmet dinner signed by the chef Andreas Döllerer, in the historical context of Liechtenstein Garden Palace. All this, accompanied by an exclusive tasting of vintage champagnes.

Then, the second day begins with an exploration of the historic center of Vienna, followed by a trip aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. So, discover the luxurious charms of this legendary train. Later, enjoy an exquisite dinner prepared by the Chief Jean Imbert. Followed by a masterclass and exclusive tastings around the art of aging, with La Cave Privée Rosé 1995 and 1998.

Finally, the third day begins with an early morning breakfast to admire the sunrise. Followed by a refined brunch on board. Arriving in Reims, explore the Veuve Clicquot vineyard at the Manoir de Verzy. Here you will participate in workshops, tastings as well as exclusive tours.

Taste the Grande Dame 2015 and aromatic red wines, followed by lunch in the listed chalk quarries. Unesco World Heritage. Finally, end this adventure in style with a 4-handed menu prepared by starred chefs Jean Imbert as well as Mory Sacko before returning to Paris aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.

The trip is priced from €8/person, based on two guests sharing a vintage twin cabin.
