Opera a Palazzo represents a exceptional initiative in France, offering a limited number of participants the extraordinary chance to immerse themselves in a unique operatic experience, in close proximity to the artists.
Each performance of this project offers a unique experience, a moment suspended in time, imbued with emotion and wonder. In a sumptuous setting that evokes the history and culture of the capital, spectators are immersed at the very heart of the opera, in the immediate vicinity of singers and musicians. Barriers fade, music and voices carry away hearts and souls…
All of this confidential evenings and atypical arouse enthusiasm: after two seasons at the Hôtel Dosne-Thiers and the Jacquemart-André Museum, Opera a Palazzo is moving this year to the prestigious salon of honor at the Monnaie de Paris.
From December 15 to 31, let yourself be enchanted by six performances exceptional opera performances, a unique opportunity to (re)discover the greatest arias of lyrical heritage:
- Three evenings dedicated to La Traviata December 15, 29 and 30 at 20:30 p.m.
- A lyrical matinee dedicated to the great love arias of Italian opera, with extracts from L'Elisir d'amore, Norma, La Bohème and Rigoletto, on December 16 at 15:30 p.m.
- A evening dedicated to Mozart on December 16 at 20:30 p.m., featuring scenes from Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflöte and Cosi fan tutte.
- A gala evening for New Year's Eve, on December 31 at 20:30 p.m., will offer you a festive program specially created for the occasion, with great extracts from Viennese operas and operettas.
Thus, these exclusive moments will offer you the opportunity to discover the oldest French institution. Nestled in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, with exceptional views of the Seine and the Louvre.

For the second edition of this Lyric New Year, Opera a Palazzo has designed a musical New Year's Eve evening highlighting Viennese opera and operetta.
Four talented artists will perform in a festive program specially created for this unique occasion. A exceptional cocktail dinner, designed from the best ingredients, will also be offered, accompanied by caviar and champagne.

The artists :
ARMELLE KHOURDOÏAN – Soprano
Revealed Lyric Artist of Adami in 2014, she took her first steps at the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris Opera. Whether in Milan or on the vast stage of the Chorégies d'Orange, her rich voice excels in numerous repertoires.
CHRISTOPHE DE SOLAGES – Tenor
With a pronounced talent for languages, he explores a vast repertoire, from baroque to contemporary music, both in opera and in concert, performing Bach, Verdi and Strauss.
MARC SOUCHET – Baritone
With his powerful and warm voice adapted to the Italian repertoire, he brilliantly played many Verdian and Puccinian roles. Also exploring French operas with equal ease.
KATIA WEIMANN – Pianist & Vocal Leader
Starting the piano at the age of 6, she quickly became passionate about the lyrical art. She maintains a close collaboration with the singers and accompanies, as pianist-singing director, the Maîtrise Populaire of the Opéra Comique.
