Where will the 2024 Olympic Games events take place?

Paris, as a unique city, deserves exceptional recognition. The Games in the capital promise a complete spectacle, with exceptional sites specially designed to satisfy athletes, spectators and television viewers. In total, there are 15 sites dedicated to the Olympic Games and 11 to the Paralympic Games.

Les Invalides

In 2024, the Esplanade des Invalides is the site chosen to host archery, athletics and road cycling competitions. With a north-south orientation, this esplanade is delimited by rows of trees along its west and east sides. Its location in the heart of Paris, within an area exclusively dedicated to the Games, offers a unique experience to both athletes and spectators.

Arena Champ de Mars

The Arena Champ-de-Mars, a temporary building of 10 m², is being transformed into a multi-purpose venue. Paris 000 is taking advantage of this exceptional opportunity to extend its presence for a few months, until the Paris 2024 Games. Designed to replace the Nave during the renovation of the Grand Palais, this structure will also house cultural events initiated by the Réunion des musées nationaux -Big palace. Concerning the Olympic Games, it will host the Judo and Wrestling events.

Trocadero

On either side of the Seine, the Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower face each other. Creating one of the most iconic settings in central Paris. In 2024, this area will vibrate to the rhythm of the Games, hosting not only athletics and road cycling competitions. But also many activities for local residents and Games enthusiasts who will walk there. The Trocadéro, a veritable balcony overlooking the Seine and adorned with the curved wings of the Palais de Chaillot, remains one of the key tourist attractions in Paris. It offers an exceptional panorama almost at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

The Pont Alexandre III

By connecting two other major Paris 2024 sites, the Grand Palais and the Invalides, the Pont Alexandre III embodies the desire of Paris 2024. It brings the Games to life in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world. Within its most emblematic monuments. By establishing the link between the main venues of the events, the Pont Alexandre III and its surroundings will be at the center of the Olympic excitement. It is on this majestic bridge that the finish of the individual time trial in road cycling, marathon swimming, triathlon and para triathlon will take place. Thus offering a grandiose setting for these sporting events.

The Eiffel Tower Stadium
