From October 6 to January 16, 2022, Jean-Paul Gaultier is the guest of honor at the Cinematheque French, that welcomes " CineFashion ". This exhibition highlights the movie outfits that the creator has made for the most legendary films! Indeed, whoever cut his teeth at Pierre Cardin in 1970 is known for its unisex and precursory futuristic creations… The very first outfit signed Gaultier to appear on the big screen dates from 1989. You can see it in The cook, the thief, his wife and her lover by Peter Greenaway. Other legendary outfits follow, which we have seen in particular in And God created man, The Stuck Charm of the Bourgeoisie, James Blondes or even Sleepy Hollow...
