From April 24 to May 31, 2024, the Louvre Museum invites you to experience: “Run to the Louvre”. An initiative by choreographer and dancer Mehdi Kerkouche combining the intensity of Olympic training with the cultural richness of the Louvre.

What if exploring a museum turned into an Olympic discipline? Mehdi Kerkouche, multidisciplinary artist, brings his talent as a choreographer and director of numerous television shows in Europe.

With recognized expertise, he guides artists from various backgrounds and also orchestrates the staging of renowned cultural events. Today, on the occasion of the exhibition « Olympism. A modern invention, an ancient heritage » at the Louvre, the choreographer offers visitors an unforgettable experience!

Run at the Louvre: at the crossroads of guided tour and sport

At sunrise, before the doors of the world's largest museum open to the public, take part in a session of a physical training which merges guided tour, dance and sports training.

This unique event will be orchestrated by exceptional coaches! So the route will take you through a dynamic mix of disco, yoga, dancehall or even cardio, and will guide you to encounter the masterpieces of the sculpture collection.

The sessions include various exercises as well as cardiovascular efforts, intended for people feeling in good physical shape. Additionally, this event is part of an exciting collaboration with other renowned dancers such as Salim Bagayoko, Céline Baron, Queensy Blazin', Léo Bordessoule, Laure Dary, and Jérémie Sibethal.

At the conclusion of this experience, a well-deserved break awaits you, and it is important to keep your ticket! In fact, it offers you the possibility of visiting the exhibition as well as the different rooms of the museum for free on the same day.
