Now called 'La Biennale', the former Biennale des antiquaires returns from November 26 to December 5 for this 2021 edition. This time, it will be held at the ephemeral Grand Palais and will exhibit as usual nuggets from different fields: -arts, antiques, design and jewelry.

For art and antiquity aficionados: mark your calendars! The Biennial - formerly Biennale des Antiquaires – is making a comeback in Paris. This year, the appointment is made on the side of the Grand Palace Ephemeral, from November 26, 2021. This unmissable show will be held until December 5.

For this 32e edition, the Syndicat National des Antiquaires invited a sixty exhibitors both French and international. Galleries, major art, antique and design dealers, high-end houses, jewelers and other watchmakers… Some come from afar: from the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Germany…

This 2021 edition still contains a novelty, intended for visitors: a space ofindependent experts. Present in the living room, these will be ready to to advise and guide amateurs and other collectors wishing to buy one or more works.

Avid connoisseurs will also notice a brand new scenography, more elegant, as well as a revised organization of exhibitors, compared to previous events. From now on, each participant will be presented in the same way, so that all the works can benefit from the same promotion. This year, several prestigious exhibitors are taking part in this biennale dedicated to fine arts and antiquities. Among them: the Galerie Furstenberg as well as Nicolas Nicolas Bourriaud, not to be missed!

-

Galerie Furstenberg

Dated of 1971Galerie Furstenberg is one of the few in Europe specializing in pre-columbian art. Since May 2001, she has permanently exhibited some sixty pieces (graphic editions, paintings and sculptures) from MexicoGuatemala, the Mayan space, the Costa RicaBrazil,EcuadorColombiaPeru andArgentina, thus giving us a good overview of these lost cultures. Most great figures of the surrealist movement such as Hans Bellmer, Giorgio de Chirico or even Salvador Dali and Wassily Kandinsky are honored. An impressive collection that stands out above all for its impeccable quality. Each piece is meticulously examined before exposure: examination under an electron microscope, thermoluminescence tests on terracotta, etc.
