The Menagerie of the Jardin des Plantes
Nestled in the famous Jardin des Plantes since 1794, Menagerie contains hundreds of animals on an area of 6 hectares. Mammals, birds and reptiles of all kinds will delight visitors.
Outside, mammals are numerous. Bovidae, marsupials, goats… there is something for everyone! A vivarium is the kingdom of reptiles of all kinds. This is where you will see boas, pythons, iguanas but also turtles and even sloths. Another structure is devoted to monkeys and felines. Orangutans are always a big hit with the little ones, while the Chinese panther, calm and strong, attracts intrigued looks. The little red panda is also to be seen!

The Jardin d'Acclimatation
Enthroned at the gates of the Bois de Boulogne, the Jardin d'acclimatation is not a real zoo, strictly speaking, but you can see several species of animals there. Goats and a few deer graze peacefully around the famous Rocher des Daims. In this 19-hectare park, several dozen birds roam free: peacocks and ducks will dazzle your little ones. We also discover an educational apiary which houses some 200 bees, in 000 separate hives. As for the large aviary, it brings together parrots, parakeets, doves and other mandarin birds... Finally, don't miss the small donkey, goat and sheep farm! You can even pet them!

Le Beauval Zoo
Located 2 hours from Paris by car, Beauval Zoo is the largest zoo in France and one of the largest in Europe. During your visit, you can see many animals, including several unique species in France. Le Feline Park
Now known as “Parcs Zoologiques Lumigny” since its merger with Terre des Singes (dating back to 2019), the Parc des Félins is located one hour from Paris by car. It brings together no less than 140 felines, of all species. The animals live in vast enclosures which reproduce their natural environments, spread over 60 hectares which can be visited on foot or by train. As the park is also a place of breeding and reproduction, several baby animals are born there each year.
