What matters is what we remember. From a meeting. Of an emotion. From a wake. The one left by an exceptional fragrance marks us forever. At the house of Essential perfumes, only what is necessary matters. Not the superfluous. The first five essences were born in 2018. The founder of the brand fell into the world of perfumery as a child. After a first store opened in the Marais, a second took over Boulevard Saint-Germain on June 2. Essential Parfums is currently present in 61 countries.

Essentially natural

Selective choice of raw materials, responsible production, in short essentially quality without compromise, for a range Made in France. Lavandin grosso, tonka bean benzoin, Australian sandalwood, are all harvested sustainably. Always with the aim of providing locals with decent resources and the protection of their land. Authentic and natural, vanilla comes from Madagascar. Each flavor uses maceration based on vegetable beet alcohol. Here, no added chemical dye or toxic ingredient. Only the essential gives off its aromas.

Essentially artistic

They and they are eight. Eight renowned master perfumers composed the floral score. All of them have their surname spelled out on the bottle label. A fine tribute paid to them by Géraldine Archambault, the house's conductor, in a way. His art ? Knowing how to surround yourself with eight musicians who mastered each note to perfection. From head, from heart, from bottom. Each creator corresponds to his work, a perfume with an evocative name: Nice bergamot by Antoine Maisondieu, Rose magnetic by Sophie Labbé, Mon vétiver by Bruno Jovanovic, Orange X Santal by Nathalie Gracia-Cetto, Divine vanilla by Olivier Pescheux, The Musc by Calice Becker, Imperial Wood by Quentin Bisch and finally the least but not the last, Fig infusion by Nathalie Lorson. The cast is enriched from October, by Fabrice Pellegrin, creator of 9e opus: Patchouli…

Essentially sustainable

In France, it is the first eco-responsible and affordable high-end perfumery brand. The products are designed to be 83-96% naturally derived. A daily requirement that drives the founder Géraldine Archambault and all creative noses. Cardboard packaging labeled FSC (acronym for Forest Stewardship Council), recycled glass bottles and infinitely recyclable. The essential, without the superfluous, without overconsumption. To keep this mantra, the brand decided to opt for the refillable bottle. This is the other novelty of this month of June 2023, in addition to the inauguration of the store.

Essentially sober

Simplicity rhymes with luxury. You get the feeling as soon as you enter the shop at 182 bd Saint Germain. Its design is refined, its architecture wooded. The collections are staged in a rural spirit. Here everything is only woodwork, foliage, luxury and voluptuousness. Sobriety is the key word for artisan perfumers. To be convinced of this, it suffices to breathe an essence. Each of the eight on display gives pride of place to a major chord. Looking into the composition of the products convinces you of their authenticity and purity. A natural simplicity that drives the founder of Essential Parfums. A minimalism both for the decoration of the signs and in the composition of the products: perfumes, candles, and very soon, for the range of detergents! It will have accents from three of the house's best-of: Imperial wood, Musk and Nice bergamot.
