Two great minds merge! The brand of streetwear Supreme and MM6 Maison Margiela are collaborating on a capsule collection for Spring 2024. This collaboration is now available worldwide today.
One month before the launch of the collection Supreme x MM6 Maison Margiela, the first rumors circulated about this collaboration between the giant of streetwear as well as the Belgian designer. Many assumed that this collection would be in partnership with luxury brand Maison Margiela… However, it turned out that it was actually MM6.
MM6 is part of Maison Margiela. A luxury fashion house founded by Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1988. In 1997, the MM6 Maison Margiela was established as a casual line to complement the designs avant-garde and deconstructive of the House. Since then, MM6 has evolved as a brand offering a wide range of everyday items, with of twists subtle and subversive, in line with Margiela's design philosophy.
Supreme x MM6: a collection combining streetwear and avant-garde
Combining the flagship pieces of streetwear de Supreme with MM6's cutting-edge couture, this collaboration offers an extensive range unisex items. Indeed, the collection includes a large faux fur coat, a colorful Varsity jacket as well as a Costumes and a washed cotton vest. We also find loose shirts, two original short-sleeved t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, Hanes® tank tops and even silver painter's pants.
On the accessory side, a camp cap, and crew socks, as well as a famous wig, a wallet, a Kryptonite® chain with disc lock but also a skateboard, echoing the roots of the Supreme brand.
All of them will be part of this unique collection. It should be noted that Supreme has already collaborated with other renowned brands in the past, including Louis Vuitton, Comme des Garçons, and many others !
