Berluti dresses French athletes for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games

Nearly 100 days before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Berluti unveils the official outfit of French athletes for the opening ceremony.

The most anticipated sporting event of the year is fast approaching! While Olympic Flame for the 2024 Olympic Games has just been lit in Olympia in Greece, LVMH et Berluti, a French House founded in Paris in 1895, finally unveil Opening Ceremonies outfits for the French Team Olympic and Paralympic.

Only a month ago, Louis Vuitton revealed medal boxes and Olympic torches. Paris 2024 also presented official posters of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Then, Stéphane Ashpool, founder of the Pigalle label, revealed the outfits that each athlete will wear in their respective discipline. This historic event promises to mark the entry of the French Team into the Games!

The artisans of Berluti have a single objective. Highlight French know-how as well as French athletes while the whole world will have their eyes on them. To achieve this objective, Berluti has worked hard! Over the months and under the creative impulse of stylist Carine Roitfeld, the House thus exchanged with the athletes themselves. But also with the Organizing Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the National Olympic Committee et French sportsman et the Paralympic Committee et French sportsman to collect their experiences and understand their specific expectations.

So, the outfits, created in France and made in Italy in the workshops where the House's collections are traditionally made, are made from exclusively European fabrics. They meet Berluti's rigorous quality and finishing criteria.

To ensure that every athlete enjoys the perfect fit, Berluti has designed outfits with an exceptionally wide size range. From 3XS to 6XL for the clothes, and 35 to 56 for shoes…perfect for Victor Wembanyama ! Thus, the House has developed the sizes missing from its standard size grid to offer the 14 sizes necessary for the entire French Team.
