This is THE collection to absolutely have in your wardrobe this spring! The ready-to-wear brand, H&M, invites Korean designer Rok Hwang (Rokh) for a limited collection of essential items.

Mugler, Rabanne, Simone Rocha,… Since 2017, H&M reveals unpublished collections, riding a very limited quantity, and in collaboration with renowned fashion designers around the world. For this spring, H&M is calling on Rok Hwang, artistic director of his brand: Rokh.

"We have been following Rok's work for several years now. He has thus developed a truly unique point of view, and an immediately recognizable aesthetic.", Explain Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative director of H&M collections.

Native Korea, having grown up in Texas and trained in the UK, Rok Hwang's style is instantly intriguing. It subtly combines delicacy, elegance but also timelessness. The resulting pieces are both conceptual and avant-garde, while remaining imprints of refinement.

After contributing to some of the most popular brands in women's fashion, Hwang launched his own brand, Rokh, in 2016. He unveiled his collections at the Paris Fashion Week three years later ! He is also establishing himself as a rising star in the fashion industry, attracting a loyal and more than passionate audience.

In partnership with H&M, Hwang designed a collection that intelligently reinvents the essential pieces of the professional wardrobe traditional. For Him and Her, this range includes lined raincoats, dresses with detachable hem, corsets, pants as well as redesigned jeans, and even a subtle floral patterned top. This collection also includes a pleated skirt matched with gloves and tights.

We also find there underwear and t-shirts adorned with the logo, two-tone metallic jewelry and fun office accessories like a briefcase bag and an accordion pouch. Furthermore, the collaboration between Rokh and H&M is versatile. It allows you to layer, modify and even wear certain pieces inside out.

Many rooms are thus equipped removable and adjustable elements such as hooked hems and buttoned parts. These interactive details are not simply decorative. In fact, they invite the wearer to experiment and personalize styles, bringing one touch with every outfit.

“I always strive to make my collections as timeless as possible, and one way to do this is to personalize the details. Seeing my clothes be interpreted by the people who wear them in their own way is one of my greatest pleasures, and I can't wait to see how customers will interact with this fun and vibrant collection designed for H&M. » , reveals Hwang in a press release.

  • The Rokh x H&M collection will launch in selected stores and online on April 18, 2024.
