Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris entrusts the reins of its pastry shop to Yazid Ichemrahen. Globe-trotter with the biggest names in the profession, from Angelo Musa to Joël Robuchon, and World Frozen Dessert Champion. Yazid Ichemrahen found refuge in baking as a child, as he sought an escape from his difficult family past. Raised by a host family, he discovered his love for baking through the cakes brought back by their baker sons. Inspired by these simple moments, he nourished the dream of becoming a pastry chef himself. Despite the challenges, he persevered and was accepted into an apprenticeship by Pascal Caffet, a renowned chef. From there, he had a series of experiences, working with great talents such as Angelo Musa and Joël Robuchon.
