The Nolinski Paris is hosting a new photo exhibition entitled “Les Miroirs”. Exceptional black and white prints that sublimate the actors.
Organized by Charlotte Barthélemy - graduated from the Ecole du Louvre, specialized in History of Art and Photography – with the support of master auctioneer Yann Le Mouel, this collection of prints will even be offered on Drouot Online, from October 19th.
This “Mirrors” project is built like a game of doubles… For an actress or an actor, looking, looking at herself, being looked at, is her destiny. Staged, they multiply and catch us with their gaze. The mirror is the one who intercedes in contemplation. Beauty is thus revealed and captured by the photographer.
In the programme : 224 photographs collected over 20 years by Charlotte Bartholomew. ofAudrey Hepburn à Brigitte Bardot via Monica Vitti and Alain Delon, these mirrors deliver the incredible beauty of the actors.
