To access the Chalet des Îles from the Bois de Boulogne, a small boat welcomes you for an express crossing. We then discover a restaurant really GENUINE which has lost none of its old world charm. With huge spaces, several atmospheres are available to you: the terrace, the garden, the balcony, as well as the interior room... In good weather, we obviously recommend that you sit down on the terrace by the lake.
Here, the chef's cuisine is simple and tasty, favoring seasonal products and the authenticity of tastes in the pure French tradition. On the menu, there are salads, a salmon-avocado Poke Bowl, grilled prawns, Thai mayonnaise and rice, but also classic dishes such as beef tartare, rib steak and fries with Béarnaise sauce, veal liver... Don't miss the seven-hour shoulder of lamb, the organic vegetable tagine of the moment or even the sea bream, browned on cooked and raw fennel skin, virgin sauce. All to be enjoyed in a enchanting green setting.
For this new season, the bar offers a wooden roof and walls to recreate an authentic mountain chalet atmosphere on the island of Paris alone. Next to the wood stove, you will be able to enjoy the new menu of tapas, cocktails and seasonal mulled wine.
Latest novelty of the house? The Wednesday fondue, an evening that begins on 12 October. The appointment is made in their winter bar. On the program: an all-you-can-eat fondue (€38/person including cheese, potatoes, salad and pickles) to be enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere worthy of a chalet at the foot of the Mont Blanc slopes... You can add mulled wine to it for aficionados!
