It's an opening that made noise in the world of Hospitality at the start of the year. Dorchester Collection unveils its first Palace in the Middle East: Lana Dubai. An unprecedented luxury setting, which is already attracting travelers from all over the world.
The Dorchester Collection expands its offering
This name is certainly not unknown to you. Dorchester Collection is the luxury hotel operator with some of the most luxurious addresses around the world. The Dorchester in London, The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, the Principe di Savoia in Milan, but also the hotel Meurice and Plaza Athénée in Paris. A collection of 10 addresses in total, which no longer appear, as their reputation and refinement have proven themselves. With all these hotel gems, the Dorchester Collection group has decided to extend its scope. And to conquer the Middle East, with an equally luxurious hotel: The Lana Dorchester Dubai. Dorchester Collection thus unveils its first Palace in the Middle East.
The Lana Dubai: a little bit of Paris?
That's it, Lana, Dubai, the much-anticipated new hotel from Dorchester Collection, has welcomed its first guests. Designed by Foster + Partners, the hotel represents the ultimate expression of trusted hospitality and elevated lifestyle. With 225 rooms and suites and eight new dining concepts. Four of them were created in collaboration with three of the world's most famous chefs.
In terms of decoration, the hotel's sophisticated interiors were designed and created by the famous Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier. The Lana will also house the first Dior spa in the United Arab Emirates, scheduled to open in April 2024.
Multiple culinary inspirations
Lana is home to eight dining and mixology concepts. Four are developed in collaboration with starred chefs. Jean Imbert, Martín Berasategui and pastry chef Angelo Musa.
Riviera by Jean Imbert is a modern Mediterranean restaurant inspired by his heritage and travels. And High Society, located on the roof, offers 180° views of downtown Dubai. An adventure which continues under the best auspices between the French chef and the group. It was a little over 3 years ago that Dorchester Collection welcomed Jean Imbert to the kitchens of the Plaza Athénée.
Lana is the tenth hotel signed Dorchester Collection. And the group's first opening in over ten years. Designed and managed on behalf of Dubai-based developers OMNIYAT, Lana is the first step in a new phase for the Downtown Dubai district.
